Alexis Strum is a talented and versatile actress with a knack for comedy and a gift for accents. She was born in London and brought up in Essex and her voice has a natural ‘girl next door’ quality with a real likability factor.

TV and Film credits include: comedy pilots for BBC3 and Channel 4, a role in ITV’s ‘Autopsy’, a lead role in the world’s first iPhone drama, ‘Persona’ and an upcoming web series called, ‘Bad Mother’ co-starring Kevin Bishop and Dolly Wells. She has appeared in many high profile commercials including: M&S, John Lewis, Mikado, The Fragrance Store and Niquitin and has just completed filming what is her biggest role to date in the Anglo/Kosovan feature film, ‘The Field Of Blackbirds’ produced by the Oscar nominated team behind, ‘Shok’.

Stage credits include: ‘Before And After’ at The Arcola, the national tour of the musical, ‘Over The Rainbow’, the lead role in ‘Snow White’ at Dunstable Grove Theatre and Lady Macbeth for British Touring Shakespeare. Alexis also performs stand-up comedy as ‘Denise’, a deluded Aussie wannabe model.

Recent voice credits include commercials for Domino’s and Schweppes and Alexis is also known for being a former signed recording artist for Universal and Warner Records. In addition, she is a talented vocal impersonator, whose impressions include the likes of Gemma Collins, Holly Willoughby and Dannii Minogue.

As a writer, Alexis has been commissioned to write comedy pilots for Fresh One and Shed Productions, as well as online sketches for Hat Trick. Her short film, ‘Shoes’ was officially selected for multiple international film festivals including LSFF and Portobello and her sketches have been featured on The Huffington Post, The British Comedy Guide and been shortlisted for a Funny Women Award. In 2016, Alexis launched her own YouTube sketch comedy channel, ‘Axis Of Stupid’ and her last sketch, ‘Facebook Parents’ has had over 100k views. In addition, Alexis is also an emerging playwright and her works include ‘Volcano’ at Theatre Royal Stratford East (mentored by Rikki Beadle-Blair MBE and John Gordon of Team Angelica), ‘Always The Bride’ at Wimbledon Studio Theatre (‘Funny and well observed’, Wimbledon Guardian), and ‘Before And After’ at The Arcola. She was also recently long-listed for the prestigious ‘Old Vic 12’.
