Lucy is a Sony Award nominated broadcaster, and presents the Getting You Home show and Saturday Breakfast with JK on Heart London and Heart Extra. With a degree in Broadcast Journalism, Lucy’s radio career has taken her from presenting on Trent FM, to the Snoy Award nominated Bauer Networks IN:DEMAND (which she co-created and presented for 5 years), to joining up with JK on Heart. She has also fronted several online sponsorships for Heart, with clients including Clinique, Harvester, South Eastern, and Encona sauces. Lucy is a regular contributor for Heart TV too.
Lucy has hosted many high profile events, including West End LIVE, The DJ Awards Ibiza, the British Kebab Awards, and charity events, including Race for Life. She has also hosted countless radio station gigs to audiences of 10,000 plus.
Her voice has been used on many ad campaigns and promos. An experienced voiceover artist, you’ll have heard Lucy on adverts for Spotify, Smirnoff Vodka, Microsoft, and as the voice of Lifetime TV, plus many more.
A lifelong music obsessive, Lucy loves to DJ, and has taken to the decks at London’s Groucho Club several times. She loves nothing more than spending hours listening to, and creating a bespoke set appropriate for the audiences she’s playing for.
Lucy has also taken on a number of social media sponsorship deals, most recently working with DoubleTree By Hilton. She has recently started an Instragram project with her boyfriend, called the Modern Couple.
A passion for writing coupled with her searing honesty, led to Lucy publishing a blog called the Break Up Rebrand, in which she openly discussed the ups, downs and in and outs of being a single career woman in her 30’s. Well qualified to discuss such matters of the heart, Lucy has been married, divorced, survived a scandal and worn the t-shirt! This blog led to her writing an article for Cosmopolitan. Lucy is currently using her imagination and writing passion to work on several TV ideas, and a children’s book too.
She has also written various travel blogs, on places from Somerset to Ibiza. Other blogging interests include all things food related – Lucy LOVES baking, and often takes her creations into work at Heart HQ. Lucy has been known to share the fruits of her labour with star guests too. Jamie Oliver loved her mince pies, Mary Berry was a big fan of her chocolate Guinness cake, and she even managed to raise a smile on the face of Paul Hollywood with her Caramel Brownies. He was just annoyed that he couldn’t find anything wrong with them.
